Application

On a dirty application crash, processes may be left in memory.

Symptoms

• computer is at high CPU load with no apparent reason
• starting the Video Server after restarting the application takes a long time or does not start

Solution

• Follow This Guide to solve the problem.

Windows: Unable to drag and drop files from Explorer to Obscene Studio (Videos, templates…)

Symptoms

• When you try to drag and drop a Video File to Obscene Studio, a "forbidden" icon is shown. It will also happen if you try to drag and drop the file to any other program, ie. Mail.

Solution

• Make sure Obscene Studio is NOT running as an Administrator. Windows protects programs running as Administrator to keep your computer safe. Obscene Studio does NOT need administrator privileges.

Touch Gestures can become irresponsive

• After a very long session on an underpowered tablet
• Workaround: restart application

Bluetooth Speakers / Headphones can be unstable

• There are some speakers that do not work very well: speech synthesis and changing audio rate can even lock up the application.
• Workaround: Use another bluetooth speaker or headphones.
• As a rule of thumb, never use Bluetooth Speakers or Microphones in a latency-critical application like Obscene Studio. It adds unwanted latency and complexity to the mix.
